A downloadable Global Game Jam 2020 for Windows

In a world of cardboard with cardboard people, you run an old haunted house attraction. Your scary contraptions are falling apart and it's your job to maintain them to keep your high customer satisfaction rating. Because when they break, they stop our customers from feeling satisfied and anything for that matter since they're dead.

Well... in order to repair those contraptions you're going to need cardboard. And let's just say those dead customers fit that description quite well. So, let's Recycle! >:)

Made during the 2020 Global Game Jam.

v1.1 is an update after the jam. We worked on it a bit more to tie off some loose ends we couldn't finish during the jam.

Controls:

W A S D - Move

Hold SHIFT - Sprint crawl while holding your Stanley Knife

Q - Swap between Glue / Stanley Knife

E - Repair / Attack

F - Pick up or Drop body

How to Play:

~~There isn't really a lose or win. The timer doesn't do anything at the current stage because we ran out of time (ironic).~~

- Your goal is to get as many smiles as possible.

- You get 1 smile when a customer gets a fright from the various scare contraptions that will trigger when a customer gets near.

- You lose 5 smiles if a customer sees a dead body.

The number of smiles you have is indicated by the vertical bar on the top right of the screen.

- Every time a contraption triggers it loses 1 durability. When a contraption triggers with 0 durability it will kill the customer.

- You can repair these contraptions using 1 cardboard resource. The number of resources you have is indicated in the top right with the cardboard box icon.

- You get 1 resource per body. You bring the body to the compactor in the middle of the maze.
